Oil Presure Question
Got the code 36 cleared and it runs much better with all I have done or had done to this vette (86). One thing I have noticed since I bought it in June is that the oil presure, under load, or when I first start it, runs from 60 to 70 pounds. After it is warmed up it runs 30 to 40 pounds at idle and about 60 to 65 under load. Is this normal, or should I be looking for something wrong?

Sounds pretty normal to me. Mine runs (or DID run, before I tore it apart) a little higher than that when it is idling, warm. Those sound like perfectly acceptable numbers, to me.

Thanks for the replys. The info helped. Just use to my 81 that had a constant 30 to 35 pounds. Knowing this is normal helps. Have so much to learn about the C-4. dmac
