So the last time I installed my engine, I forgot something crucial, the main battery ground. The car was picking up a ground elsewhere and it's something that grounds the ABS/ASR. Big shock, it burned it up, now I have no ABS or traction control and both lights are on.
My throttle cable works as it should, but I would still like to get this fixed. The problem is that I can't find the ASR diagrams anywhere, so I don't know where the hell the grounds are. Any ideas?
You have a '92 I believe so the engine block ground it could be assumed is the primary (G106 @ oil filter) but the ABS module is different for coupe and 'verts. Coupe under halo trim LH side (G405), 'vert behind RH seat @ front of rear compartment, it's mentioned it's tied to G401 in that same location. I'd think it an easy find.
Would you like to buy a FSM? I believe I likely have a paper (red cover both books) and likely an electronic .pdf of the same books. Use the email contact under my user ID if interested.
You're the guy that mentioned "push rod length" wasn't anything to be concerned with for a booster I believe. Well?
Crap, can't believe I forgot to put my year and make. It's a 92 coupe. I checked the grounds in the halo trim and they're fine. It might have torched the ABS computer internally.
I was the guy that mentioned that the push rod length should be adjustable, but I never tested that theory, I just sucked it up and put the proper year booster in.
Thanks for the offer on the FSM, I might just take you up on it when I get paid.
