Lol yea it already has a crack high on pass side . thinking of replacing it with a lexan sheet (it's a track car only ) but have a 84 parts car I might Rob the class from if I want to keep it simple
Also not sure if anyone has noticed but i moved the alt to other side and made a pully to suspend belt with the air pump (used the a/c compressor elimnator along with some 1.5" barstock bent and drilled to offer more support if anyone is interested lmk and I'll take some close up pics of the mods to do your self . much cleaner up front now
When and had car dynoed today on a mustang dyno.
4th gear pull with the Doug Nash.
Very pleased . under WOT it's really rich like 9.5:1... So it has a little more in her but I'm ok with this for a few track days .
Now to get a real battery installed so it turns over better after it gets up to temp...
A see a stinger battery coming soon
I guess its still a 350, why not stroke it? Looks really good and lord knows mustang dynos are heart breakers. I like what you did with the alternator, what kind is it? I am thinking of doing the same but switching to a lt5 power steering pump and eliminate the pulley above it.
Yes still a 350 .
Stock crank and lt1 rods .
But wasn't looking to make that change .
Originally wasn't even going to dig into the block at all but after seeing it was a gm low compression short block I had to go thru it and change the pistons out to 2 valve relief hypers
According to a track app run I did (dynomaster) car runs a 11.65 @114. And it (based on that run )figured my hp @374 to the wheels... So wouldn't think it was far off
Our race season is about to start! The 27 I'm going to get teched for TT season. Dyno run with wideband corner scales, safety inspection. Still on stock tune and if o2 readings on the Dyno checkout it will stay that way but if not I'm headed to motivation Inc to have a chip burned to fix the fuel and the timing curve. (feel stock timing is too aggressive below 3k rpm)
