Heat the head of the bolt, it'll grow & relieve its tension grip.
I was trying to remove a wheel bearing on the rear of a late model vw, it was held in with a long tty bolt. A 24" breaker bar w/ a 40" cheater pipe wouldn't touch it. I heated the head a little & it broke loose with just the breaker. It came with a new tty bolt, torque was something like 110 ft-lbs with an additional 180 degrees.
Ed,
Stock pushrod length for the LT1 is (7.200)...Sorry, I don't know the stock head gasket thickness, but a call to a Dealership should answer your question....WW

Thanks Wayne, so far I've come up with the pushrods are 5/16 x 7.2 and the head gasket is .39
Putting the order in today since the heads will be here this week. I'd like to have it already so I can get it back together.
Of course I've been eye balling a LT4 with Zf6 and ecm that I was thinking about throwing in... but said the hell with it. Been down that road with mods.. haha.. The 84 is modded enough.. Don't need another.

GM # 10168457 is the OE gasket part # used since '92 - You might confirm the specifications from multiple sources.
Ed - you referenced .39 which I'm sure is a TYPO?
I would think the local dealer could certainly better the SUMMIT pricing for OE gaskets.
