1991 wiper arm removal

When I was driving the car home, after buying it yesterday I accidently
bumped the windshield wiper switch.

Should be just the clip, pull out and pull up.

sounds like the op put the wrong blades on many threads on this hope you just need the right blades I would look into this first

I'm not sure what year they changed the arms for better windshield contact I think 93 but to be sure you may want to find a set from 95-96, Somewhere here should also be a guide on how to adjust them so they won't contact each other.
Due to the spring pulling them down at an angle they can be hard to remove. You can use a screwdriver and small bock of wood to push up just be very careful and don't touch the glass.

it looks like it over ran the stop, I was on my way home in dry weather and momentarily bumped the switch they tangled and mangled

looks like I'm going to have to open the cowl and adjust it all

it is easy to put on the wrong side of the stop when replacing blades or washing windshield
