Default Cooling fans removal

My 90 corvette driver side fan does not work any more. I use a paper clip on the obd1 and only passenger comes on and spin real fast. Driver side fan doesn't spin. I did tap on the fan motor and the fan started to spin but only spins slowly. I'm wondering how hard it is to replace the fan motor?

I have undone the four bolts. The power steering fill tank is in the way i think. Do you remove that or what do you do to get it out? This is my first corvette to own and work on.

Easiest way on my 1992 is to pull the entire radiator assembly out. Gives you a chance to inspect and clean everything while you have it out. Might as well take the opportunity to clean the condenser too.

I was thinking about doing that. I saw some where on the forums about a month ago a person did a write up on what tools you need and what bolts to undo to take the radiator shroud off so you can get to everything. I can not find it again.

it not hard except for the six little screws in the nose a flat ratchet wrench 7mm I think and some electric tape to hold them to the tool to install. just take off the top of the shroud off and the hoses off and lift out.

TRY THIS LINK TO GET AN IDEA AS TO HOW IT SHOULD COME APART. IT'S FROM THE diy SECTION OF C4. You just remove the front air dam first and then disconnect hoses. Then you have the whole thing out to get at it.
