It's not adjustable, so it doesn't really matter. As long as it's around 0.6 volts you're OK. Transmission type doesn't affect this.

The PCM measures the TPS when the ignition is turned on and remembers that number and calls it "idle". That's why the exact number doesn't matter.

With DVM tps voltage measurement (engine off key on) is strictly related to the TB idle screw.

The more opening in TB blades the higher voltage in TPS

well i know that lt1 has not an adjustable TPS type, i'm just wondering which is the right voltage in order to get the right idle blades opening.

P.S. On my car idle realerning procedure wont works. Infact is impossible to set idle with IAC disconnected at 500 rpm....

Now i've set TPS at 0,64 v and seems works correctly... Idle stay about at 900 rpm....think car was messed by pre-owners

Anyway ASA i will get a copy of datamastaer to take a look at IAC counter.

My current OE throttle body & TPS sensor is set to .61- As above the transmission is not a factor. But your Idle. If this is a stock LT1 900 RPM's is slightly High. The factory setting is 750 RPM's

Hello admiral

Yes it is stock and is impossible to get idle under 850~900. The moment that 900 rpm are, idle screw detach from TB shaft. TB shaft stays in that position and it doesn't care of any further unscrewing

IYO why is impossible to get idle under 850~900 rpm with FULL CLOSED THROTTLE and FULL IDLE SCREW UNSCREWED??

some trouble in IAC counter?

use a scan tool. What is your IAC count. I would take your IAC off. Carefully clean the Plunger. I use Stainless Pads. Similar to steel wool. They can accumulate build up.
