ARP rocker arm studs
OK, 1986 L98 factory aluminum heads, putting 3/8 roller rockers and need new studs. Does anyone know the actual ARP number? I started looking around and confused myself really fast when I saw the ones that I THOUGHT werre for this engine also said SBF. I came up with 134-7104.Thanks.

7/16- 14 X 3/8 -16 Studs you are looking for. Also these = 1.895 Length
you are looking for 135-7101 = 1.750 Length

Admiral, I don't think thoat is the right number. It is a listing for Big Block and 7/16 stud up top for the rockers and 7/16 thread into the head. I need the 3/8 into the rocker and 7/16 into the head. Thanks.

I prefer 7/16, but the rockers I used were some 3/8 1.6 stamped I just slapped on. The reason I like 7/16 isn't because they are noticeably stronger when using a on head spring tool. It's because they have like 20 or so diff lengths you can get, so that with your combo of parts you can have the rocker ride mostly on the shank and not the threads.
