Hi, do any folks out there know the thread size / bolt size needed for the '89 power steering pump shaft? I ordered in a GM puller/installer and the tool worked a dream for removing the pulley but the install tool shaft diameter is too small to screw into the pump shaft and get a purchase to get pulley back on😕! Thanks in advance for any info!👍🏻. This is driving me nuts!

What size do you actually have presently? Early TC pumps I believe were 3/8-16 which maybe for you could be a more difficult find.
Most all of the brackets that attach to the cylinder head and engine block are 3/8-16 so you could maybe "borrow" one from your engine. Borrow to atleast maybe try for correct thread?
"Kevova" seems to have posted while I was "thinking" so I'd be inclined to mention
He did mention "they" so I don't quite maybe understand. To install the pulley you would need a "single".
