Default 91 Headlight and Console Questions

Got two probs I need to fix and need some help:

1. One of my headlights is missing the little plastic bushing on the actuator shaft where it passes through the mounting bracket. Local dealers say "it all comes together" and I can't get the bushing by itself. Anybody know the little piece I'm talking about and how to get one? Not having it causes the mounting hole to wear and the headlight to not sit flush when closed.

2. Previous owner had a Viper alarm installed and they put a little LED light to the left of the radio through the Console plate. Service Manual shows a phillips screw in the AC Duct and a "spring clip" under the plastic plate. Anyone know how to release that spring clip so I don't break it? The Console plate rattles and I'd like to get back there and fix the rattle.

Any help is appreciated as always! :chevy

Both of my shaft bushings are now missing so I too would like to know of a source or an alternative.

Sorry, but as my digi dash differs I can't help with that issue either.

i JUST INSTALLED A NEW STEREO IN MY 91. tAKING THA PANEL OFF IS A PIECE OF CAKE. jUST PULL THE SHIFTER PANEL BACK FIRST THEN YOU UNDO THE SCREW IN THE a/c VENT LIKE YOU SAID AND THE BOTTOM WILL POP OFF WHEN YOU PULL IT. Sorry my caps were on. Also there are spring clips on the sides as well, in fact i don't remember one on the bottom but there may be, there definitely is on the sides though. I have taken mine off about 7 times and there is nothing to worry about breaking. Any more ?'s let me know. As for your headlight problem i am in the dark.

Thanks for the info on the console panel :seeya

It looks like I'll have to "rig or find" something on the headlight shaft bushing. If it works I'll let 65Z01 know what I did/found :chevy

There are aftermarket bushings / kits available for the headlights. MAD or Eckler's has them. Can't help with the console. :nonod:
