I am having an issue with my C4's HVAC. The blower fan is permanently on. I have no response from the head when I try to use it normally, and when I tried pulling up the codes none were stored. Has anyone had this issue before?
Finally was able to make the programmer function. Now I have a Code 6 Inside Air Temperature Sensor short. Does anyone know where this is located on a '90?
Have you tried this fix? I had a similar problem with my auto climate control. Take a look at this video. It wasn't hard to do and it did fixed my problem.
The dashes reappeared on the control head. I am able to make it function somewhat by disconnecting and reconnecting the programmer, however, the codes 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 appear. Looks like I will be trying another programmer.
New (used) programmer arrived today. Installed the new capacitors I had put in the old programmer and connected it to the car. Everything now works as it should.
