well corvette central sell the kit for $3300 including shipping . Was actually hoping to read a review about it really , but thanks very much
I have a complete Air Ride Shockwaves system sitting in my garage that I didn't use for a project and I've been thinking about doing this myself on my Vette? So if you do it please show pictures. You will probably **** off a lot of people by doing it, but it would look great.

he has not been on for a long time but if you im him it will go to his email too if he still has it. what did you try?
hi ant farmer , i tried all of the info you posted and came up with nothing . Maybe it's cause i'm in western australia . Really want to hear from some one that's got one up and running , before ordering the kit . Not real happy with the standard suspension even though it's got new shocks and in good condition. It'a very expensive exercise , and want to make sure that it is a vast improvement on the standard suspension

I'd like to know as well. I started a thread about pump-up shocks for the same reasons last week. I'll do some research over the next few days and let yous know if I find anything.

ok , thanks a lot and i will try again . C4's are kinda rare here , but in america there should be plenty . Would have thought , there would be plenty of air bag suspension jobs getting around . I have owned and worked on a lot of cars , but i just look and feel the suspension on the C4 and scratch my head to be honest .
Hi Bullguts, I looked at Corvette centrals Air Bags set up and it's got a couple of good points but the problem with there set up is your going to have to fabricate a way to mount some shocks on the front and back and they don,t show that. So it will ride like **** if you don't have shocks.
If your looking at going Low and still handling good, go with Coil Overs with Compression and rebound adjustments on the Shocks.
If you want to lay on the ground and still raise it up to drive height then get "Shockwaves" which has internal Shocks with a Rebound and compression adjusting.
Look up "Acu-Air" Air bags on the internet.
It all depends on how you want the car to Handle after being Lowered.
Is your car for Show or Go?

well acu -air have not got back to me as yet and i think the bags in the kit eliminate the shocks . I bought it already lowered , just changed the shocks . The car is a work in progress , but also being so low does a lot of scraping , i have nick named this C4 " the money pit " know what i mean ?
We build the ShockWaves, but have never fitted a C4 in-house. Anything is possible if you're not afraid of some fabrication. Like someone mentioned earlier, you still need a shock with Air Bags. That's where the ShockWaves shines due to having the Shock built into the unit. You would need either the 1000 or 104 Series. I have attached a link to our Website that has the Universal Shockwaves. We can build them in an eye/eye configuration or a Stud top/ eye configuration.
thank you rodney , your gear looks real good , i just need to hear from some one that's got it happening before going any further . Thanks again and your gear looks the best so far , cheers
Your going to have to find a good welder/fabricator because even if you use "Shockwaves" It won't be an easy install. I've had many cars with Bags and each one is different, and I also drive a lowered c4.
I have an extra "Shockwaves" set up that I haven't installed because I drive my car like I stole it and I will be switching over to Coilovers because of long term dependability and abuse?
Talk to Ride Tech and be honest about what you want and how you drive so they can make your set up correctly.
Please post pictures of the work and understand that your in a new area where your going to **** people off? Good Luck.
Ok, I looked at the so called $2000. kits on Ebay. Won't work. The kit said it was for c4 but if you read the discription it says only good for c3. Look at the lower control arms and you will see.
Consult "Ride Tech". Look carefully at your compressed height of the "Shockwaves" and how much clearance you have to install them.
Your Rear shockwaves are going to be tight for clearance.
You need to find a good fabricator where you live that is familiar with this.
