Thread size for the 4+3 overdrive pan?

Thread size for the 4+3 overdrive pan?
Does any one know the meteric thread size for the OD pan? Two threaded holes are stripped and I want to get a helicoil kit for the two holes. I am debating on putting English threads back in. I think the precious owner or service man has stripped them beacsue when I went to change the fluid the bolts were bascailly held in with permetex.

Yes the hex head is 10-MM across the flats.
I have OD pan bolt in my hand and the thread OD measures just under 6mm.
I remember putting in a 1/4-28 bolt to try to tighten the pan up temporarily so I am pretty sure it is the 6-mm.
