Has anyone Disconnected there AC pressure or temp connector. To Supply the data from a widebands output. Ultimately recording this data while logging with data master EE/b 94 - 95 PCM

I have, and I finally got it to work. I cut the wire in the engine harness, up near the PCM. then I soldered/heat shrunk wires to both ends, and ran them both through the firewall, to a switch under the dash, mounted in the lower panel, by the data link connector. I then ran the wire from the wideband output to the third terminal on the switch, with the PCM end in the middle. So I can now basically switch between A/C signal going to the PCM, and Wideband signal going to the PCM.
Do you need the info to put into DataMaster as well? Give me a few to find it, and I can let you know the numbers. You need to know the slope of the wideband, i.e. 0 volts=10:1 AFR, 5volts=20:1 AFR.
But now while I datalog, I can see and record the air fuel ratio along with everything else.
Go to VIEW at the top, then select CUSTOM DATA. Click on the "click to assign" box. Check variable enabled. Enter 30 next to byte number. Put what you want in Info, Variable name, and units...I put air/fuel, wideband, and AFR. For my particular wideband, the Gain is .0392, and the Offset is 10. Data type INT, display format ###0.00, then hit OK.
Darren,
Outstanding! I read this worked. I needed a confirmation.
You have confirmed. The WD data will make a awesome addition.
Thank you,
Happy safe Thanksgiving!
You're welcome. If you need me to, I can go see which wire it was at the PCM connector, but it's in the shop manual, if you have one. Glad I could help. I thought I was the only one on this site doing this. I know lots of the camaro guys were, that's where I read about it.
And once you get it going, you can't actually display it under ac pressure, but you go to view, then custom data, and see it in that box. You can, however, put the ac pressure in the graph at the bottom, so you could graph the wideband relative change.

Reason: added info
Thank you, Again for the data master WB Offset formula.
I will tap in from the Red/Blk pressure sensor connector. That feeds the PCM input. To a toggle. Splitting my WB / AC pressure.
I'm lucky. I have the FSM plus a parts car. With the harness removed.
