HELP!! I BROKE IT!!!!
My 88 coupe is now sitting in the driveway alone and crippled. It all stated like this......Was leaving work early morning. Got up on the "uphill" entrance ramp to the expressway....got on it a little to merge when it lunged forward...I think it made a noise....and then I lost power to rear wheels. I coastes back down the exit ramp and came to a rest. I shifted the automatic tranny into all the gears only to find that it would "creep" very very slowly no matter how high the rpms. I know something came loose and the motor still run great...it just wont move! Sounds like tranny to me but would like you ensight so I may be able to spoiil myself the rest of the summer! :confused: :confused: :confused: :cry :cry :cry

The converter puked. If the tranny was ok before it happened I'd drop the pan and sevice it........if there's no junk in there just put it back together with a new converter...........been there done that :seeya
