Dyno'ed the car at carlisle and was wondering how the numbers compared to other stock L98's. The batery was disconected for a while untill just before dyno time, could this be why the numbers bouncing around a bit. They seemed to be much smoother on the 2nd and 3rd runs. The car has a Marcho chip and K&N.
Here are the #'s
Thanks, sorry about the size, new at posting pics..

Hmmm.... Lost the pics somewhere in space.. went over the 5meg limit on villagephotos.com... OOps! :(
Is there a way to change the air/fuel on the chip? Craig Marcho and I were playing around with chips at CII and we changed a few things, Its been so long I forgot what we changed. I know we did some timing and fuel cutoff stuff too.....Is there a sensor in the main cat? How do I not damage it while gutting it?
There is no sensor in the cat. Your oxygen sensor is located in the driver's side exhaust manifold. Well actually it is in the y-pipe, but is right under the manifold.
You probably want to get an hour of dyno time with somebody who can burn chips and either play with fuel pressure if you have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, or (and the better choice) play with the %change air/ful ratio vs. RPM tables in your chip.
Re: Some questions about Dyno numbers (89BlackVette)
Hey Everett! Good to see you around again!
I've still got your file on my hard drive and can make changes for you. I missed the dyno graph though. If you can email it to me, I can figure out how much to change the a/f ratio. cmarcho@swbell.net
Just looked at the bin file to double check, and it's dated May 24th 2001 @ 10:45pm! Brings back memories! I can remember being in the BWC parking lot with everyone.....
Re: Some questions about Dyno numbers (89BlackVette)
I see the numbers in your sig... very similar to mine! My car was stock at the time except for my chip and K&N as well. My car was running way lean though.

I was doing the final test on my chip around that time. I have been very pleased with the chip and it has never given me any problems. I can't wait to try out the re-burn! Thanks Craig!
