My GF's 94 C4 is running a little poorly (because she never drives it) and she insists it needs a tune-up.
While I think I know a lot about my C5 I can't say I have the same knowledge about C4's. Heck, my idea of maintenance is doing another mod!
Gm's brainiac owner's manual scribes are no help either. They do point out, though, that you should use schd. 1 if you use your Vette for "delivery service, police, taxi, or other commercial applications" Gee I can't recall the last time I got pulled over by a cop in a Vette or seen a Pullman brown Vette with a UPS sheild on it.
Anyway, What plugs would you put in, wires?, filter? anything else?
I would put in some NGK TR55's, MSD wires, and a K&N filter myself but hey like I said I don't know the C4 like my car.
I used Bosche plugs, stock wires (new), and a paper air fillter. I do have a cut lid and hear that paper is fine. How old is the C4, and what problems are happening? Miles, LT1..........?
You already have the right idea, MSD wires, NGK's and K&N.
If its still missing, then its likely an Optispark failure, which is expensive, but you would do better to fix it yourself, because GM will rape you a new one on labor.
Other than that, check the oils and coolant level and brakes.
She says it's running rough. I took it out about 4 months ago and did a couple of 20-100 mph punches and a few burn outs and it ran better.
everything is stock, from delivery, on it including the wires & plugs (except for the air filter) We did replace the battery last year, but other than that and the tires it is bone stock.
If you think you are getting a carbon build up you might want to try some seafoam, available from napa. I took loose the vacuum line going to the brake booster and stuck my thumb over it, had wife start engine, then quickly stick hose in container of seafoam. Let set 10 min. (engine stalled at this point) then took it out and ran it hard for about 15 min. Smokes like heck with that stuff in there.

:yesnod:   Smokes like you're launching a small rocket!
That vacuum line sucks so hard that I didn't need to put the hose in the can. I just placed the hose over the top of the can and let it suck it up from there.
