Default C4 fog light aiming ??

Hello all,
I did a quick search and didn't see this question asked or answered. I have a 1987 convertible. My fog lights seem to be aiming down to the road way to low. At least for me they are. Is there any adjustment for those lights? Aiming them up just a few degrees would do the trick.

Thanks in advance.

Fogs are fixed in the park/turn/fog housing

Well, in my 93's FSM, it tells you how to aim the fogs. Not sure if it will work on your 87.

The Fog lights in my '84 are adjustable, too! I can't imagine this is different than any later C4. Twist the tube that extends around the light socket to loosen (CCW), then push down on the tube to raise the beam. The lamp housing is a spherical shape to allow for aiming the lights. Lock the aim by rotating the tube CW.

Here's what you're looking for:

It's been 12+ years since I built my bumper and I certainly didn't recall the adjustment for the fogs. I did a quick glance at the FSM and it's certainly covered in 8B of the FSM. It would be in a similar section regardless of the year involved. Do mine need adjusted? I've no idea.

Yea, I agree. I have HID in my fogs, and considering it's not a projector housing, the light spread is OK. Never felt a need to aim.

I've seen those under there and I kinda recall them being referred to a an adjustment. I didn't try too hard to force them to turn so left it at that. Will definitely give it a solid try this weekend. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks

thanks for the help.
The 87 (at least mine) has no access cover under the nose to easily get to those adjustment/bulb mounts. Instead, you need to squeeze your hand through a tight little opening up in front, under the hood. Passenger side worked fine and it did adjust up a few degrees. the driver side was too tight to loosen w/ the tips of my fingers. Gonna be a real ordeal when I have to replace those bulbs.
Thanks again for the input.

Replacing the fog light bulbs is much easier. The socket is inside this "aiming tube", and has a long extension to provide good access. Twist the socket CCW and they come right out!
