I have found some 17" wheels on ebay that I am not sure if they will fit. The fronts are 17 X 8 with a 4.5" back spacing and the rears are 17X11 with a 6.0" back spacing.

Re: Wheel help for an 85 for autocrossing (MonsterVette)
I would guess that they will probably fit , but I think you will need the adapters available from Mid America and the like to convert from your 16 in. to the 17s
Re: Wheel help for an 85 for autocrossing (MonsterVette)
Yes they will. Those are 11s on the front in Brian's signature. But it will again change the class you are racing in. For autocross, go the the 17x9.5 on all 4s with 275-40-17 tires. For street, I like what I have in my sig.

Re: Wheel help for an 85 for autocrossing (MonsterVette)
some guys run 17x11 all around they rub the outside a little.
My hit on the locks, but I don't run them on the street.
The fronts tires are 335A18 running on CCW 18x12 wheels The rear tires are 335A17 running on CCW 17x12 wheels You need to go to an 18in wheel to get the 12in width to clear the a-arms. Sticking with a 17 in the rear makes for a longer contact patch which is great for putting the power down.
