I see in the C5 section that it is possible to upgrade the early TPMSexpensive system to the later less costly system.
has anyone experience with applying a similar type system to the C4's band type system. Does anyone make an upgrade package.

Not familiar with what the C5 guys might be doing BUT if I actually wanted a LTPMS I'd use a newer technology that reports TEMP/PRESS for each wheel to a monitor in car BUT most now offer compatibility to an Android/iOS app that you could use for a quick glance.

I have a C5 and have done the early to late upgrade on it. The early sensors are more expensive and the key fobs have some reliability issues. On the C5's you need to swap the receiver in the car and then have matching key fobs and tire pressure sensors.
On the C4 I have never heard of a compatible system to swap. I suspect that WVZR-1 is right and an aftermarket might be the only way.
Hi All, I am getting the dreaded LTPMS error. My 1990 ZR1 has less than 17k miles on it and the parts must be wearing out. I would be very interested if anyone has found an upgrade or replacement kit. Anyone out there with this problem without just taking a bulb out?
