found my detent cable loose form the bracket, fixed that, re adjusted the cable till it snapped back , before the cable was fixed it was slippin, now when i first start is it shifts ok with little throttle pressure, but after a minute or two, for 1st and 2nd have to let off the throttle and it will shift , sometimes found about 50-60 ill have to do the same, cruising at 50 i hit the throttle and passing gear kicked in my question is should i do a full flush ( from the cooler lines) and change the filter to see or am i FUBAR....

A flush won't cure anything. If it is properly adjusted, you really have few options.

The throttle valve cable may be the issue as the cable casing can deteriorate from heat, oil exposure and age. When that happens, it compresses and the interior wire can't work as intended... it looks like its adjusted but doesn't pull completely. Part of the TV cable run is hidden when the transmission is in the car so you can't always see the problem. Its a real good idea to replace the TV cable anytime the tranny is out for a rebuild: insurance against early failure. The TV cable can be replaced with the transmission in the car.
