Transmission fluid change

Whoever decicded to go with the 17mm hex bolt thingy needs to be shot. I can't find one anywhere. I tried using a bolt with a 17mm head and using vice grips to hold it and turn it. It just caused frustration. And I wasted lots of time putting the car on jackstands (always sucks for me... it never goes level. I don't like seeing jackstands on one of the 4 legs as I jack up each side of the car...)

I bought mine from Snap-On. It's a good tool for those plugs as they are soft and the Snap-On has a good bite.
Think you can find a tool at most parts stores, look for VW oil drain tool.
