A/C drain line stopped up
After finding water in passenger floorboard took 93 Ruby Red to shop and they blew hi press air into drain line and leaves came out along w/ water, however, it stopped back up. Their next step was to remove blower motor and maybe even casing in order to clean it out but I told them I'd do that. Anybody out there had this problem and how did you fix it? Thanks in advance

It's pretty common on lots of cars.........there must be a screen or something missing or out of place allowing the leaves to get in there ..... I think I saw someone making a filter for the plenum ....... after you get it cleaned you might consider this :seeya

If you pull the motor from the housing, get some clear flexible tygon tubing as large a size that you can work in the a/c cavity. three/four feet is plenty and stick one end in the cavity (maybe use a wood down taped to the end) and the other into your shop vac. suck the dirt and crap right out. you can also flush from the inside by pouring hot water down the tube and make sure the drain is open and clean. good luck
