Any input on this, I have a 92 lt1 Was driving on the interstate last week there was road construction the pavement changed and there was a jolt, The car started skipping bad but never shut off, I made it home raised the hood looked around, just out of instinct bumped the ecm with my palm, the engine cleared up and ran fine Could something be loose or is this common? Thanks john

Is there anything I can see visually or does it have to be taken apart to see inside?

Clean the contacts on the ECM plugs with some spray contact/tuner cleaner, it doesn't take much dirt or oxidation to mess up the connectivity.

Terminal fretting, sometimes just unplugging the connectors can break these and restore operation. Radio Shack sells good terminal cleaners as well.
