Default 1994 Corvette differential gear ratio
Where would I find the gear ratio stamped on a 94 corvette?
Is it coded in the vin.
What was normal ratio for 94 vette with automatic transmission

You will find your RPO codes under the center console arm rest. Just lift the arm rest and there they are. My 1994 6 speed has GM3 which is 3.45

The base ratio for the 4AT was 2.59 and the only available option was the 3.07.

What does the tach read at 55mph? Mine reads 1,600 in overdrive. I have an auto with 3.07s

RPO codes for autos are:
GM1 = 2.59
GU2 = 2.73
HE3 = 3.07
G92 = 3.07
RPO codes for manuals are:
G44 = 3.07
GW4 = 3.31
GT7 = 3.33
GM3 = 3.45
GHO = 3.54
