ASR/ABS Tech Help Greatly Appreciated
I'm recently experiencing some ABS/ASR problems that l don't know how to solve. The car is a '93 vert with 33,000 miles. The trans is a 700R4 leading to a D44 with 3.45 gears.
Front tires Fire Stone 285.40 zr17's on 9 1/2 rims.
Rear tires M/T #3745R 295.45r.17 street radials (27.2 Diameter) on 11" rims. The Info center panel lights up like a Christmas tree and the converter unlocks and then relocks about every ten minutes. So far I've pulled the under hood wire leading to the ASR box as well as the ABS/ASR fuse.
SURPRISINGLY the six ABS/ASR info panel lights still come on AND the converter still unlocks and relocks. This happens at about 48MPH.
WHAT AM I MISSING. There is nothing the tech search engine can provide. I'm not interested in saving the ABS/ASR. The lights I can live with. But the converter is another story.

Maybe much more info could help. What converter is being used? Have you discussed anything at all with the converter vendor.
You've been over, under and around the VSS calibration so knowing the % of error and calculating the RPM maybe accurately the converter vendor could help you.
