Default 1986 Harmonic Balancer Size
I have an early 86 coupe. I am changing the timing cover and need to buy a separate timing pointer. I need to know the diameter of the balancer to purchase the pointer. My car is in storage right now or I would look myself.

A factory Harmonic balaner is 8" in diameter.

Unless it's something other than stock it's 6 3/4"

6.75 it is. could have sworn there was some L98's with 8"
