Default 5 Rounds

Went 5 rounds at Sonoma today. This was the second race of the Summit Racing Series (11 races in all). Made it to the final 3. The da started at 700' and ended up at 1700'. The car was pretty consistent. Here is one of the time runs. 10.37@130 Enjoy...

Nice pull. what is up with the down hill track? this will make you a few tenth's faster. you would think for safety they would reverse the start tree from the other end.

Thanks, The track is perfectly level. It goes uphill after the 1/4 mile and is sort of an illusion making it look like the cars are running downhill. The NHRA Nationals are run here and the track has to be level.

I really like the way your car is leaving the line. Pulls the wheels for 100% weight transfer then right back down. Too many pull the wheels too long=not setup right.

Thanks, For a long time, I ran a set of Lakewood 90/10 drag shocks up front. They would allow major lift up front. A couple of years ago, I switched to revalved double adjustable Afco front shocks. The car used to get the front tires off the ground quite a bit (see avitar) but now as you mentioned the front lifts just for a moment and the car moves forward instead of upward. I've got 60's of 1.35 which is pretty good for the et.

These shocks were set up really tight. I'm running near the middle on the rebound and 22 clicks out of a possible 26 toward the loose end on extension.

Compression is 13 out of 26. Rebound is 22. These shocks were setup really tight and I need to really loosen up the rebound to get transfer.
