a simple thing?........
I'm doing some interior refurbishing....can someone tell me how to remove the automatic shift **** from a '91...I just can't see how it comes off..... :crazy: thanks for not laughing :lol:

If like an '88, pry out the button and remove the C-clip at the inner base of the ****. Pull the **** upward; this may take a little force if the first time it's been removed.

The button has two flat springs extending down on either side of the center shaft and gripping it.
You need to pry up on the sides of the button to release it.
