Best performing tires??
What's the absolute best tire for normal performance? I have 285's all the way around. Usually 4 GSC's, but have left my drag radials on lately. I am going to get something with higher performance next summer.

There's really only two top tires in my book... the Firestone SZ50EP's and the Michelin's Pilots. I personally run the Firestones and love them... they hook as good wet as they do dry, they are quiet and wear great.

Potenza, Firestone SZ50, Michelin Pilots, Dunlop Sports are all good.

Another vote for Michelin Pilots, the Dunlops wear out way too quickley, I have more miles and burnouts on my Michelins than the Dunlops, but the Dunlops have less tread left.

Here we go again. Time for someone to mention Kuhmo's.
This forum needs an ongoing Voter Poll for tires, suspension, intake manifolds, cams, etc.
That's the great thing about Vettes. You can do so many different things to make them better, but there is no best.
