I have found this older post where the owner of a 95 C4 has described an intermittent misfire or ?? issue very similar to what I am experiencing with my L98 engine. So, I'm going to go over the electrical connections in the engine harness and look for a bad connection.
Any unique issues with the L98 that might cause the same symptoms?

MY DESCRIPTION OF THE ISSUE (suggested by I do so rather than refer to another POST)
The L98 starts pretty easy but usually idles rough and the SERVICE ENGINE SOON lights up. After a short warm up I can drive off to my destination. On the way it might stall at a red light. I can restart it and it may still be idling rough or it could idle fine and the SERVICE ENGINE SOON light goes away. Not always consistent though.
Yesterday I started it and went for a short drive (a few miles) and the issue was present LIGHT ON. I stopped for fuel. Upon restart in this case the SERVICE ENGINE SOON light was still present and it was still idling rough. Before I could get out of the service station she stalled. On restart, everything was fine and the SERVICE ENGINE SOON LIGHT went away.
