I removed my power antenna yesterday because it wasn't working and now I want to plug the hole with a cover or cap. Does anyone know of a specific product to plug the hole or know of something that might work? I think that eventually I'll have it filled and repainted when I have a couple of other spots fixed but was hoping there's something I could use until then to cover the hole. Thanks for any info you might have.
Why not just fix the antenna most times it is just a $20 mast.
I need to look at that too. I thought I'd do that with it on the car but the wires were cut for some reason. When I tried jumping them back to the original port I didn't get anything from the motor. I need to open it up and look.
I'm interested in any members solution for this hole. AM FM radio is a technology I don't use anymore with commercial free music streaming from my phone. I too would like to find something to cap the hole.
Faucet hole covers or sink hole covers will work. Available in different diameters some snap in place some have a threaded stud. Finish is galvanized, chrome or stainless steel.
Remove the antenna shaft. Leave the black bezel in place. Go to a hardware store and buy a small black rubber stopper. Fit into the antenna shaft hole.
