Default 87 Spoiler Assembly Order?

Trying to replace the center section of the OEM style spoiler.
Mine was completely gone.
NOte ===> Drawings/online parts pics do not help... they don't match reality. I already have these. I need a narrative.

Have all parts laying loose on the bench:

Lower Radiator Baffle
Aluminum reinforcement strip (retainer)
New center spoiler

The aluminum retainer was riveted directly to the lower radiator baffle with the raised edges facing away from the baffle. I drilled out the aluminum rivets to remove the retainer.

The spoiler has only 5 holes in it for the bolts & nuts. There are no holes to accommodate the 4 rivets which held the aluminum retainer to the lower radiator baffle.

The new lower radiator baffle matches the damaged/unusable OEM part.

The replacement center spoiler will not fit between the ends (in the cradle) of the lower radiator baffle... the spoiler is too long.

Can someone please take a look at an original 87 and let me know what the order of assembly is? (sandwich layers)

TIA

Thanks.... but it doesn't help. I already have that pic on my desktop. I need the order of the "sandwich"... how the parts stack either top to bottom, or bottom to top.

The pictures do not address the order of the parts... and lack of holes where they are needed etc.

Notice how many holes #642 and #643 have (8) (in reality there are 9) and how many holes #648 has (4).

In reality, #648 replacement part has 5 holes for the bolts and -0- holes for the (4) rivets.

I received a response from the vendor and it looks like it goes like this:

The aluminum retainer is riveted to the bottom of the forward edge of the lower radiator baffle with (4) flush type rivets, with the retainers extrusions (lips) facing down, and with the flush part of the rivets on the top.

The center spoiler is positioned between the forward vertical sides of the lower radiator baffle (resting on the tops of the 4 rivets), and (5) screws are fed through the center spoiler, the lower radiator baffle, an finally the aluminum retainer. Add nuts on the 5 screws and you're done.

The issue I was having is that the center spoiler does not fit all that well between the forward vertical sides of the lower radiator baffle.... it has to forced in there pretty hard. I assumed it would just fall right in there.... but I guess not.

Edit: With the center bumper brackets attached to the forward vertical side walls of the radiator lower baffle, the two torx center spoiler outside screws cannot be accessed from the top. Ergo- the 5 center spoiler screws must have been installed from the bottom-up from the factory.

I've replaced many on the 91-up cars and most aftermarket replacements had to be trimmed and or the holes adjusted for a good flush fit. Good Luck
