how do I find out if my dic is causing a very dim lcd display or its the display itself????? thank you to all who reply..

Shine a light on the photo cell by your buttons and then try putting your finger over it and see what it does. Or maybe you just dimmed it yourself without knowing.

dimmer doesn't make a difference..

Look just above your fuel info button and next to where is says trip monitor see that little dot that is what I am talking about.

oh I know wherer it is. just thinking is it worth unsoldering and soldering a new one in place
