Did something stupid, almost blew my engine!
After a very exciting Sunday night of racing, as I was stepping out of my car, my foot accidentally armed the nitrous button underneath my gas peddle while my car was at idle! :eek: It was only for a second and all you could hear was a POP....POP,POP,POP...POP from my exhaust. Ever since that frightening experience, my cars been running like a champ with no noticable problems. Now my question is, could I have messed something up internally? What should I look out for? I'm just glad I didn't have the 150hp jets in that night. :yesnod: :cheers:

That is how 95black threw his rods through the pan. If it is running fine, then you probably dodged the bullet.

Make a throttle swithc. I went to Radio Shack and bought a micro-switch for $2.49 that is mounted to a bracket I made. That way, no nitrous untill WOT.

Wait hold on I think I'm reading this wrong......
You pressed the switch UNDER the pedal with your foot? Is that what happened? Move that sucker off the floor and higher up on the accelerator.
