Our pull the ECM fuse. That will do it also.

Re: How do you clear codes? (Steel Blue 91)
Is one method better than the other? I know disconnecting your battery will cause the ECM to "unlearn" all of its stored parameters, which will temporarily affect performance. Will pulling the ECM fuse have the same effect? Sounds like yes would be the obvious answer, but I could be wrong.

Pulling the ECM fuse will have the same effect as disconnecting the battery. ECM will have to relearn.

Both methods work the same. However niether clears the code it just moves it to history unless a problem still exist then it will come back as a hard code turning the light on. Soft codes or history codes must be cleared with a scan tool.

Same result either way. EXCEPT disconnecting the battery also resets all the presets on your radio.
