Default back space for front

A follow on to my other post about rear back spacing. What is the MAX backspacing you have used on the front? I know how to measure it just would like some feedback. Thanks

Caliper brand/model, the adapters used to attach to the later C4 spindle/knuckle determines everything BUT requires the wheel "total width" to calculate. Wheel style is going to effect your build also.

11" @ 50 has a back-space of 7.9 and that's generally consider "a fit" for the front of most later C4's. You could likely assume then that 8" would do OK so long as it does your caliper/brake combination as well.

You might wander over into the "road race/track" section and toss it in there.

How is the project doing? Snapshots?

Thanks it coming along, I finished the wiring and put power to everything it all worked except the fuel pump. I am running the fuel pump power from the ECM but it is not getting power so I will track it down tomorrow. The link is below I should have it started within two weeks. getting ready to order my CCW Classis for the car.
