Default Auto LT1 idle speed??
In traffic, my '92 idles around 500-550 RPM fully warmed up. Is this normal for a Auto?

What is the ECM commanding the idle speed to be? What is the RPM as seem by the ECM and NOT the tach?

My 94 is about 800 but tachs lie get a cheap laser tach of ebay and see for sure.

Beg, borrow or steal a scanner? The scanner will tell you want the desired or command idle speed is. Also, it will tell you what the ECM sees the engine is doing. The tach can be inaccurate.
