Hello!
My '89 keeps making this kinda loud Chirping noise. I'm having a hard time figuring out what it is. I thought it was the belt, so I did that little bar of soap trick and the sound was still there.
So I put my ear around the car and the belts sound normal but I found the area where the sound is coming from. It's by the engine block, where it says "Tuned Port Injection"(or where the engine air intake hose first starts). Anybody take any guesses on what it is?

Check for pulley alignment, too. See if the belt is riding an edge of any pulley's that aren't grooved. You can try squirting some water on the belt and see if the chirp goes away.
