New booster, no O/D

'88 unknown trans. Before changing booster, I had O/D. Shifting was a little rough but it was fine. Now with a new booster, shifting is awesome, just seems like there is no O/D. At 70 mph, it's running at 2200-2400 rpm. Is having a new booster what is causing the high R's and its already in O/D? Or, do I need to adjust the sensor at the brake pedal? Or, because I had problems before the new booster, I'm just not use to what is suppose to happen and correct? Hoping for the latter! Lol

Is it correct as it is now? No idea BUT I would think you could determine easily so long as you understand the operation of TCC etc.

Check brake switches(2) underdash are correctly adjusted. One is for TCC and Brake lights and other is for cruise control.
