Injector size for 1994 Vette LT1
I have a 1994 Vette that doesn't run well on stock 24lb injectors.
Engine has Hooker headers, Borla exhaust, K&N air cleaner, Lingenfelter throttle body, unkown computer program. Previous owner run NOS nitrous and two fuel pumps.
Currently running one pump and stock fuel pressure regulator
Is there anyone that can tell me the best up grade injector size. I have 42 lb. injectors in it now. They are to rich for warm or cold start. Runs great after few seconds of burning off initial start up flood. Open or closed loop

42lb is way to big, If it has a custom tune you will need to retune for the 24lb injectors if nothing else has been modded to the motor other than what you have listed you would be better off going back to a stock tune and stock injectors.

Put stock injectors back in. Found adjustable fuel pressure regulator and installed it. Run fuel pressure up to 60lb.s Solved the coughing and stalling problem I was having running in open loop under 140 degrees.

Either he has solved it already with a custom tune (it has been 3 years) or he should get one. I don't think an AFPR is going to help his case. With 42 pph he should stick with stock pressure and go ahead with a custom tune, assuming he hasn't rolled the car off the cliff by now.

Removed the 42lb injectors. Put factory injectors back in. I put the 42 lb. injectors in because it need more fuel with the stock fuel regulator.
The car has had modifications. Lingenfelter throttle body, K&N air cleaner, Hooker headers, Borla Cat back exhaust and unknown PCM program. I know PCM has been programmed because primary fan is set at 193 and secondary fan 198. Also had 160 thermostat, adjustable fuel pressure regulator and NOS on it.
I broke the adjustable fuel pressure regulator vaccum nipple off so I replaced it with a stock fuel pressure regulator. Stock regulator only supplied about 38 to 40 lb pressure. Engine seemed to run lean coughed and hesitated till it switched to closed loop at 140 degree's. Then it ran better.
I finally found an adjustable fuel pressure regulator similar to the one it had on it when I got the car. I dialed the pressure up till it ran without coughing in open loop mode.
Approx. 60 lb. pressure
