Went to remove the plugs to replace the oil inside my '96 ZF6 drain plugs. Figured out pretty quick that I did not have the right tool. All the other drain plugs I have dealt with have been the size of a ratchet extension end. So anyone know the right one to buy?

17mm HEX - remove the fill FIRST!!!

Awesome. Thanks for the info. I was pretty sure that was the size, but I wanted to be sure. I ended up getting a set of 3. Soon it will be time to throw in that Castrol 10W60 oil!!
