Water pump drive seal
I'm replacing the seal on the water pump drive shaft. The new seal has a double inner seal. (one yellow and one black) I ordered the tool to put in on properly but I'm wondering how to face the seals. Does one face in towards the block and one out, both in, or both out? I can't find anything on this installation in the Helms manual.

Yes the inner seal should slide on the shaft and retain it's shape facing inward, that's the tricky part, when you slide it on (without a guide-tool or turkey baster) it will want to fold out. There are a couple of alternative methods for installing it, do a search on turkey baster in the archives section and I'm sure you won't be dissappointed.
