C4 lift questions
My C4 is going on a lift in a couple of weeks for some exhaust work.
My friends lift, lifts the car at 4 points, its not a drive up ramp type.
He asked me what the lift points were for the car, he said they will not be the factory jack points, but they may be close.
I know brake lines and fuel lines are a concern at the rear of these vehicles. Any pointers would be appreciated.

Use the factory lifting points or something in the vicinity that is a strong, multi-layer, vertical metal "lip". Any lines are recessed from those points. Have a look under the rocker rail of your car....you'll see.

You show him "Toptechx6" snapshot and this from the FSM and mention the "pinch-welds" will be obvious and your friend will be fine. Many lifts similar to your friends don't clear the C4 chassis and you need to drive on 2 X 10's or something to clear. Your friend should know.

Thanks Guys, I appreciate it. My Friend has only owned C5, C6 and C7 Vettes so while willing to help me , he just wanted to be sure he did not dump my car.
