The starter is very easy to replace. I just did mine 2 days before Carlisle. It was a matter of 2 bolts and removal of the wires and out it came. You do need to push it towards the front of the car then twist it if you have an auto trans like mine. Dont forget the gasket that goes around the gear where it enters the converter cover. All in all it took approx 20 min. I have a quick lift and park the car on it which made it this easy a jack and stands might take it a little longer.
Job done... I had to put a serious dent in the CAT heat shield to get to the top bolt...
Took one of the manifold bolts off and it sheared off. Decided to take the other route. Will take the car to a muffler place to get that stud replaced.
