Is there someone who is good at diagnosing these datamaster files. I would need to e-mail if willing.
I have a 92 LT-1 383c.i. PCMforless chip done couple years ago. I have a stumble around 40-50 mph in O.D. with little throttle input i.e. trying to put a load on motor. runs fine everywhere else but my advanced timing shoots to 46 in one spot for no reason and my knock count goes crazy in another spot at 34 deg. total timing for no apparent reason all under wide open throttle pull. I have an adjustable fuel pressure gauge I can play with if needed. Thanks.
P.S> I have been following Irishpete86 post because I have always had the same issue with laptop cutting out loosing connection every 5-7 seconds for about a second then back on?
I recommend importing the file into Excel and graphing various parameters of interest.
For example, this graph of IAC counts shows startup idle decay and throttle follower mode. It also shows the IAC maxing out at 145 (parameter set in the programming):

Does it graph like that automatically when converted and how do you know what to even look for i.e. my data log file at least goes red when out of the parameter. My wife handles most anything above basic com skills

In Excel you highlight the column and choose Insert/Chart...
Open Datamaster and chose playback Datamaster file. Next, click view and click histogram. Then click start. As the file runs it is populating the Histogram with BLM averages. You may need to smooth the VE tables out using these averages. Feel free to send it to me for my observation. scottncherylhansen@sbcglobal.net
