How about some updates from the Siamesed Base Manifold crowd?
I have a base in my garage that has been siamesed 3" into the runners. I did the siamesing with an endmill and haven't done the finish polishing yet. I have a set of AS&M runners I was going to use along with the siamesed base. Have any of you guys who siamesed your base had any issues? How far did you siamese? What kind of improvements did you realize? Should I just shop around for a cheap Accel base (anyone have one for sale?)? Thanks

I cut a 1"x1" hole into a stock base and with stock runners and ported plenum picked up 20hp (10%) at 5,400rpm with a slight drop in low end torque.
I intend to cut in another 2" but have another issue to deal with first.
