4l60e automatic transmission
help/I have a 1995 c4,automatic transmission.it looks like the 3-4 gear clutch pack is bad.Is it better to find a shop to rebuild it or try to get a replacement transmission?I live in south east n.y.state and do not know or a shop that can be trusted.Can a transmission be gotten on line[internet]?thanks for the help.

If you end up shipping it out to be rebuilt I would look at RPM in Muncie, IN. Awesome shop and will do it right, they are in the vendor section. If you have the ability to remove it yourself you will save some money. The rear of their shop is full of trans on pallets from around the country so don't let shipping discourage you. They can do anything from stock rebuild to some crazy HP build. As a reference they did my 4l60 last year and it cost me around $2,000 for the stage-3 build good for 600 HP, now I just need 600 HP
