GS 11inch wheels....
well im finally ordering my wheels today... Im still worried about the wheel sticking out past the fender...I hear some people dont have any problem while some say it sticks out 1/4 inch...Im goin with the GS offset and hopefully it will fit with no problem. My car is very low so when i hit bumps i want it to tuck under the fender with out hitting it. Ive read somewhere where guys have shaved something down so it does fit perfectly (the wheels tucked under the fender) but i cant find that post anymore. At first i was going to go with the GS flares but then i was told the GS offset wont fill out the flare, then i was going to go with the ZR1 offset to fill it out but i dont know how that will look... I know ive posted this before but i just dont want to make a mistake when ordering so if anyone has pictures of flares with GS offset wheels or flares with Zr1 offset wheels it would help me out big time.. especially lowered vettes... thanks guys for all the Help

Well they look good both ways. They really dont stick out hardly at all with the flares, but I think the flares look really good. I ran without the flares about 2 weeks I liked it that way too. :reddevil

u say they dont really stick out (meaning even with the flares the tire sticks out?)which offset did u go with? i do like the way the GS flares look...just dont really want to spend the money on a body shop to glass fill them in... :cheers:

You don't need to have them glassed in, they attach with 2-sided tape.

I know that the regular 17" wheel offset is 56. What are the offset for GS and ZR1 wheels? Which one has 36 offset. does the front wheel stay with 56 offset?

The GS off set will fit. It's 50mm, the ZR-1 is 36mm. The GS flares do not provide any additional clearance, they just cover the top of the tire if you don't have any negative camber. If your car is slammed, you will be very close, but it will still clear the lip of the rear fender. I've run them for 5 years and have two sets of them so I have spare race tires. Plus they are light and will clear huge 6 pot brake calipers.
