long tube headers
when i was swapping my Y2K vette wheels onto my vette (looks really :cool:) i noticed that my exhaust is all banged up. so, ive decided to get whole new exhaust system instaled, including headers. my question is, whomaks them for LT1 C4s? what are the pros/cons? any reomendations from people who have them? where can i get them for a good price? (please incude websites if possible) any info would be very much appreciated. thanks in advance, and as usual :seeya .

I see you live in Cali. As such I don't think you'll be able to do it. If your emissions people just do a tailpipe test you can install some Hooker 2151's and some bullet cats (I know you can with a manual tranny, it might be too tight with the auto) That will pass the sniffer but it won't pass a visual.
If they start looking for CARB numbers you can't put any long tubes on it.

the hooker 2149 is the header with the EGR tubes, 2151s are the regular race headers. TPIS & Lingenfelter also make really nice headers. personally speaking if you want a emssions header the TPIS & Lingenfelters slip right on & come with a really nice fitting Y-pipe.
